Come and join Rachael Gibson from Heart of the Horse and Kiran Jot from Kiran Jot Yoga in St Kilda and share the day with us in Drummond North for a one day retreat. We will be providing you a safe place to open to receive and equally soften to surrender. It is so needed at this time to be deeply connecting to our true nature, finding healthy ways to release stress and bring ourselves into balance. It is edgy out there in the world these last few years, so our self care as you are most likely finding, becomes a high priority.

We will have our feet on the earth, lay our bodies on the ground and spend ample time throughout the day cultivating awareness and paying attention to our breath. We will commence and conclude the day in sacred circle. The yoga component will be taken by Kiran Jot utilising the transformative technology of Kundalini Yoga. This may be under the shade of the trees or in the gorgeous bell tent, depending of the weather.

We will break for lunch and then spend the afternoon with 3 beautiful horses, the herd from Heart of the Horse. By taking some time to be with calm and healthy horses, you may be surprised what these incredible sentient beings may assist you with. This is very powerful in helping you stabilise your nervous system and leads to a heightened awareness of the present moment. Just being in their presence can have powerful effect on your entire being. Often your heart rate will reduce, your breath may organically deepen and emotion that you may be bottling up, often finds its way to move through you.

Are you drawn to the idea of just dropping down in deep connection to nature? The day will be facilitated in a safe and contained setting, with space held by two Kundalini Yoga teachers, both are passionate about our individual healing journeys. Of course, the horses will no doubt find a way into your heart. This is a very unique opportunity to nurture and nourish yourself at a deep level.

All levels of fitness welcome. No yoga experience necessary.

Come in comfortable clothing, please bring a yoga mat, a pillow, a blanket, layered clothing to be comfortable with weather changes, closed toe shoes for the horse component. If cold weather rug up and if hot, bring a hat, sunscreen & water bottle. If heavy rain is forecast we will postpone.

The day includes a herbal tea and welcome circle, followed by a Kundalini Yoga class outside in nature (or in the bell tent if weather is inclement, a vegetarian lunch overlooking the rolling hills of Central Victoria and the afternoon experiencing the healing power of horses.
