RELEASE! into Ecstatic Dance
Free form conscious dancing with great people and great music.
The intention set for this evening of movement is for a great release through an embodied dance, to activate and clear, letting go and making space for the new.
This free form practice invites you to dance like no one is watching to delve under the layers of holding and resistance to set your inner dancer free. To be in the moment moving which ever way you wish is a joyous celebration of life on the dance floor, be in community as you express and release, ground and uplift your spirit to ecstatic states, alcohol, drug and smoke free.
Releasing the old or what no longer serves you is a natural process for life to continue, letting go of residue, detaching from that stuck energy and dusting the path is normal for the fresh, the new and the exciting to come in. It's an energetic detox!
Moving through the body we explore new ways to release, de-stress and process emotions, freeing ourselves to experience life with a fuller capacity.
The music will take you on a journey that will cross musical genre, borders and movement hurdles. Come with an open mind to explore your body, mind and spirit through your authentic dance.
No right or wrong and no set moves, open up to a world of possibilities beyond your imagination, with you, the dance floor and great music!
6:30 to 9pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.
Please bring a water bottle, put away phones and shoes before entering the dance floor.

No shoes, we dance bare foot to ground and connect with the earth, freeing your feet will free the body as well as the mind.
No talking on the dance floor, the space becomes safe to express and feel into your dance when the mind pauses the need to communicate through words. Keep the space safe for each other.
NEW TO DANCING DHEVAS...
The ecstatic dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how
you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements
so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy
as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.
We have been teaching Conscious dance in WA for 14 years, trained in various modalities and taught numerous classes, workshops and retreats. The essence never changes, the purity and simplicity humbles us each time we step onto the dance floor and we are ever grateful to the community around us and the earth that holds us.
This event is not suitable for kids (18+)
