Releasing Painful Memories - Yogic Rebirthing

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Recent history has given us more than our fair share of traumatic events in the Northern Rivers. The memories that many of us are carrying are filled with the pain of these events, adding to other memories we may have been carrying for much longer. All impact on our ability to experience the joy of life and live with peace and happiness in our hearts.

This Winter Solstice I am creating an opportunity to release these memories with a Kundalini Yoga inspired Yogic Rebirthing.

The Winter Solstice is traditionally a time for deep introspection, of experiencing ourselves within. As we hunker down in our warm nests, we look for the cosiness within, seeking warmth and contentment. When our recent (or not so recent) past holds the pain of traumatic memory, this space may no longer hold security and leave us feeling unsafe.

This workshop uses Kundalini Yoga techniques to provide a safe container, where we can meet those painful memories and lovingly release them into the ether. Physical movement and breath work prepare the mind and body for deep meditation and release through experience and creativity. The workshop will be completed by a sound journey for an emotion and nervous system reset.

This special workshop will be held on Friday 23 June in the Yemaya Centre for Reiki and Wellness. The healing energies that surround this space provides the perfect energy for this journey. This is a small venue so numbers are limited to 7 for an intimate workshop experience.

Please bring your yoga mat if you have one, a blanket to cover yourself during the sound journey and water to drink. If you do not have a mat or blanket please let me know so I can bring them for you.

With love and blessings
