Relevant worship for people with disability and neurodivergent people
Description
How can worship become more accessible, meaningful and welcoming for people with disability and those who are neurodivergent?
Join Anna Wilson and Nina Luscombe for this month's Progressive Christianity Forum as they explore this important question through the lens of inclusion, participation and belonging. They will provide an overview of disability and neurodivergence and draw on their experience to share practical insights into creating relevant worship. Several people with lived experience of neurodivergence will contribute to the presentation. The session will provide opportunity to ask questions, explore further and reflect on reimagining worship as genuinely inclusive, where alternative ways of thinking, sensing, communicating and engaging with faith are recognised as gifts to the whole worshipping community.
