Strange Currencies

Strange Currencies is a Philadelphia-based R.E.M. tribute band whose goal is to

faithfully and honestly reproduce the music from R.E.M.’s extensive library.

The song selection ranges from R.E.M.’s greatest hits to deep cuts, so they are sure to

please even the most die-hard R.E.M. fan.

Made up of former members of So. Central Rain, they have performed at legendary

venues including Ardmore Music Hall, Bowery Ballroom, 118 North, Broken Goblet

Brewing and many other stages throughout the region. They deliver an authentic,

energetic tribute to one of alternative rock’s most influential bands.

By Car or By Train

The East Falls Train Station is a short walk from the Fallser Club. Parking in East Falls is no problem! There is ample free on-street parking near the East Falls train station driveway at 3610 Midvale Ave and a paid municipal lot three blocks away at 4100 Ridge Ave.  Midvale Ave and Ridge Ave are both well-lit!
