Renee Bolla, a children's picture book author, seamlessly transitioned from the corporate world of fashion retail to craft enchanting literary worlds for young minds. With the release of her picture books, Finding Bunny and Imagine That, in 2022, and her newest book, The Truth About Stepmoms, coming Mother’s Day 2024, Renee has emerged as a storyteller who captivates hearts and sparks imaginations.

Her passion for literature extends beyond her own creations. As a writing contributor for Detroit Mom, a proud member of the SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators), and an active participant in Julie Hedlund’s 12x12 Picture Book Challenge, she is deeply ingrained in the vibrant world of children's literature.

As a founder and member of the author group, Kidlit at Heart, Renee collaborates with a dynamic community of fellow authors, collectively dedicated to sharing valuable marketing tips with peers in the literary world. In this grassroots children’s picture book marketing group, she not only contributes her expertise but actively shapes the future of children's literature. Kidlit at Heart stands as a testament to authors coming together, pooling their knowledge, and collectively working towards a vibrant future for children's books.

Additionally, Renee is a founder of the empowering initiative, A Pop of Indie, committed to fostering a love for reading and writing among elementary school children.
