Solar Citizens are hosting a FREE workshop for Chinese locals who are interested in renewable energy, electric vehicles and saving on their energy bills. 我们正在为对可再生能源、电动汽车,以及节省能源费用有兴趣的华人社区成员举办免费研讨会。
The session will be run in English and Mandarin and is open to recent migrants from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan - as well as people with Chinese ancestry. 会议将被翻译成普通话。欢迎来自中国、香港和台湾的移民以及有中国血统的澳大利亚人参加。

Justin Tan is a social worker and experienced community workshop facilitator. Originally from Singapore, Justin speaks Mandarin and English, as well as some conversational Cantonese. Justin is excited to be hosting this workshop and is passionate about helping people learn about renewable energy and save on their energy bills. 陈威成 (Justin Tan) 是一名社会工作者和经验丰富的社区研讨会主持人。 陈威成来自新加坡,会说普通话和英语,以及一些广东话。他很高兴能主办这次研讨会,并热衷于帮助人们了解可再生能源并节省能源费用。
Charlie Rodrick works for Solar Citizens, a not-for-profit community organisation that is committed to ensuring every Australian can benefit from cheap, clean energy - including solar, batteries, and electric vehicles. Charlie previously lived in Suzhou, China and has a diploma in Chinese Studies from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. 夏绿蒂 (Charlie Rodrick) 为 Solar Citizens 工作,这是一个非营利性社区组织,致力于确保每个澳大利亚人都能受益于廉价、清洁的能源,包括太阳能、电池和电动汽车。 夏绿蒂曾经居住在中国苏州,拥有西交利物浦大学中国研究文凭。
What to expect 期待什么
This workshop will be run as a listening forum and will involve a roundtable discussion where participants can share their opinions and ideas, and ask questions. The session will be recorded but your name and personal details will be kept confidential, and your answers will be anonymous. 本次研讨会将作为一个倾听论坛进行,并将包括圆桌讨论,参与者可以分享他们的意见和想法,并提出问题。会议将被记录,但您的姓名和个人详细信息将被保密,并且您的答案将是匿名的。
The session will run for two hours, including a break in the middle with light refreshments provided. Pens and paper will be provided, and you don't need to bring anything, just yourself and a willingness to participate and share your ideas! You are not required to have any prior knowledge or skills to attend this workshop. 会议将持续两个小时,包括中间提供茶点的休息时间。我们将提供笔和纸,您不需要带任何东西,只需要您自己和愿意参与并分享您的想法即可!参加本次研讨会不需要您具备任何先前的知识或技能。
Who can attend? 谁可以参加?
This workshop is open to all Chinese community members, including recent migrants and those who prefer to speak Mandarin. Justin, our session host, can provide translations and extra support to anyone who needs it. 该研讨会向所有华人社区成员开放,包括新移民和喜欢说普通话的人。我们的会议主持人威成可以为需要翻译或其他额外支持的任何人提供帮助。
The venue is accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs, with a step-free entry. We will provide a supervised activities area for children, with colouring-in and art supplies. All our staff have up-to-date Working with Children Checks and will be happy to keep a close eye on your little ones while you attend the workshop. 该场馆可供婴儿车和轮椅出入,并设有无台阶入口。此外,我们将为儿童提供一个有人监督的活动区,并提供涂色和美术用品。
