Event description
Don't know how to sew? Do you have pants that need taking in or up? (or taking out - no judgement here!) Do you have a button that needs to be stitched back on? Have you made a small hole in your favorite shirt?
Our ReCommunity Stitched Together Volunteers will be able to assist you with basic repairs and alterations such as, shorten new jeans or pants, replace a button, take up a dress hem or repairing clothes with small damage. Want to volunteer to help make repairs? You can register too volunteer to and help you community.
Have a cuppa and a biscuit while you wait and reconnect others in your community. Have a story to tell? Chat to one of our Sharing Stories ReCommunity Podcasters on the day!
Registration is free, you can register as a sewist or as a general community member requiring a repair! Everyone welcome! The more the merrier!

Bring items for repair (plus any specific supplies you might need for the repair) In most cases we have the resources we need to assist with a basic repair.
