Repair Day Nov 2025- Clothing Repair Station

Jody Head of Algorithm Designed loves upcycling, mending, customising and alterations to give garments an additional life.

She will be onsite at Re Place between 10am and 3pm to deliver services such as hems, buttons, trouser hooks, straps, repairs and mending holes. Minor alterations such as darts, changing sleeve length and cuffs. Due to time constraints she will be unable to add zippers.

Jody has extensive experience in the fashion industry and has qualifications in Fashion Design, Millenary and Costuming. Many garments Jody has assisted with have featured on runways in Sydney, Paris, New York and London Fashion Weeks throughout the last 10 years. Jody’s love of fashion varies between ready to wear outfits and bespoke pieces. Jody’s passion for Sustainability has been the forefront of everything she does and has helped shape a shift of culture within her training locations and workplaces. When not designing, pattern making, teaching or watching fashion shows she can be found Back of House producing shows or directing logistics as Co-Founder of The Syndicate Group. In this role she is committed to working with Grassroots Designers and Organisations assisting them to realise their dreams.

Where: RePlace (towards the middle of the site on the right as you enter the Inner west Sustainability Hub from Prospect Rd). Look for our signage. 

Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully please let us know. The site is accessible via paved pathways with a slight slope from street to buildings.

Who: This service is provided free to residents of the Inner West local government area. This service is presented by the Green Living Centre, an initiative of Inner West Council. As numbers are limited, the service is only available to residents of Inner West Council area.
