Repair Day Nov 2025 -Furniture Repair Shop

Do you have an item of furniture or a favourite household item that needs some love without breaking the bank?

Well, we are happy to offer our repair consultation service. 

Book a 30-minute slot with The Bower's expert furniture restorers. During your session, they’ll assess your item and, if it’s a simple fix, repair it on the spot. If the repair requires more work, they’ll provide you with a quote before proceeding.
If you choose to go ahead with the quoted repair, your initial booking fee will be deducted from the total cost.

Book in a time, bring your item in or some photos if it's a large piece and we can work through a solution.

Bring your own mug, or donate a clean, unchipped one to our community project and enjoy a free coffee while supplies last.

Who:  This is a paid booking service for residents of the Inner West local government area. This service is presented by the Green Living Centre, an initiative of Inner West Council. As numbers are limited, the service is only available to residents of Inner West Council area. Search by address at Find Your Local Council - Office of Local Government NSW website to find your local government area, if you're unsure. Proof of residential address will be required. Where: The Bower Furniture Repair Shop (on the left in the middle building as you enter the Inner west Sustainability Hub from Prospect Rd). Look for our signage. 

Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully please let us know. The site is accessible via paved pathways with a slight slope from street to buildings.
