Event description

Bring along an item of clothing that may be missing a button, has a stain you would like creatively covered so you can keep wearing, or learn a basic daring technique. Visible mending is the way to go! If you don’t have an item on hand drop into the session to learn a few basis stitches that you can then use over and over to extend the life of a well loved garment of yours or a friend's!  Kirsten Junor, visible mending enthusiast, will have buttons, needles, threads and a selection of fabrics for patching, with her for you to use.  Maybe you have jeans that need a patch or a sock that could do with a quick darn – bring them along and wear them longer.
