Chinese Australian history is also being made in parliament: through who gets elected, whose experiences are heard, and who helps shape the decisions that affect us all.

Join Jenny Leong MP, Member for Newtown since 2015, at the Museum of Chinese in Australia for Representation and Racism: Reflections on being a Chinese Australian Politician.

Drawing on her own experience, Jenny will reflect on representation and racism from the perspective of a Chinese Australian in public office. Her talk brings a personal, contemporary dimension to the MOCA History Forum’s exploration of Chinese Australian lives and their place in Australia’s wider story.
