All players aged 11+ who can provide evidence of their REP status are welcome to participate in an exclusive hour of basketball skill development with us. The first session is scheduled for 3rd May, with the final session taking place on 28th June. 

Reps players will get to experience NBA standard training and will be exposed to the latest skill development techniques. Spots are limited, so be sure to save your spot quickly! Boys and girls are welcome!

Our mission is to inspire, connect and empower youth in Australia through the power of basketball. 

Open to anyone ages 6 - 18 from beginners to representative and future elite players. Created by the NBA’s Elite Basketball Development Team, we've created a safe and fun program that focuses on enhancing your basketball knowledge and character through on-court skill sessions and off-court workshops on topics such as goal setting, decision-making and leadership.

The program provides unique development opportunities through exposure to NBA-approved coaches with proven, best-in-class training techniques.

Who is behind the NBA Basketball School Australia?
Basketball Magic, an Australian-owned sports management company focused on basketball development at a grassroots level, has partnered with The National Basketball Association (NBA) to launch Australia’s first NBA Basketball School.

NBA Basketball School provides an additional avenue for young players to learn the game and refine their skills under the tutelage of established coaches with proven training techniques. Together with Basketball Magic, beginners and advanced players will experience world-class training to elevate their game.

Refund policy

NBA Basketball School Australia Refund, Cancellation and Termination Policy 1. If you wish to cancel your registration in a program, you must notify the local NBA Basketball School Australia centre via email – enquiries@nbabasketballschool.com.au. 2. You will be refunded the participation fee, excluding any merchandise purchased and the online booking fee charged by our ticketing platform (Humanitix), but only if your email notification is received 7 days or more before the scheduled Program commences. If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled Program commencing, you will not be eligible to receive a refund. Following cancellation, you have no entitlement to program participation. 3. In the unlikely event that the NBA Basketball School Australia program gets cancelled, for example, the COVID-19 pandemic, participants will be refunded the participation fee, but excluding any merchandise purchased and delivered and the online booking fee charged by our ticketing platform. If you have purchased merchandise which has not been delivered to you, you will be entitled to a refund of the merchandise kit. If a participant uses a voucher to register, they will unfortunately not be issued a refund. 4. If NBA Basketball School Australia cancels a program session at no fault of the participant (change of time/date/day of week), you will be refunded the participation fee for the cancelled program session. 5. If a medical condition prevents participation in 5 or more NBA Basketball School Australia program sessions, you will be refunded that part of the participation fee of program sessions missed. You will not be refunded the value of any merchandise purchased and delivered, and the online booking fee charged by our ticketing platform. If you have purchased merchandise which has not been delivered, you will be refunded the value of the merchandise. 6. NBA Basketball School Australia will replace participant pack items that are faulty or damaged at no fault of the participant. Participants are required to send faulty/damaged items to the address below and/or submit photo evidence to enquiries@nbabasketballschool.com.au. NBA Basketball School Australia will not be responsible for any misspelling, incorrect singlet size, or incorrect postal address details submitted by the participant. 8. In exceptional circumstances NBA Basketball School Australia may choose, in its sole discretion, to conduct conciliation with you to resolve a refund or cancellation of a registration request. 9. Other than the refund obligations referred to in the above paragraphs, NBA Basketball School Australia is not liable to you for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of the Program being cancelled, postponed or changed. 10. NBA Basketball School Australia will not replace your participant pack if lost, stolen or damaged. 11. NBA Basketball School Australia may terminate your child’s involvement in the Program on reasonable grounds at any time, including if, in the reasonable opinion of NBA Basketball School Australia, your child’s behaviour interferes with other participant’s safety or enjoyment of the Program or is likely to do so. Where your child’s involvement in the Program is terminated under this clause, you will not be entitled to a refund.
