Research on Work-Integrated Learning: Student Participation EOI

We are conducting a research study about your experiences during your placement. The aim of this study is to investigate how informal social interactions during University placements influence placement satisfaction, skill learning, and wellbeing.

You are invited to participate in one 60 mins focus group, where you will be asked about your placement experiences. Please sign up for the time that suits you. Each focus group might comprise 5-10 participants.

Benefits

If you attend the full 60 minutes of a focus group and actively contribute to the discussions, you will receive a $50 digital gift voucher or gift card as compensation. Light snacks will be provided.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a University of Sydney Student;

• Must be a student in either the Faculty of Medicine and Health or the Business School;

• Must be an undergraduate or postgraduate student;

• Must be willing to have their input included in the research study;

• Must be willing to attend a 1-hour in-person interactive facilitation session; and

• Must have completed at least one work-integrated program (e.g., internship, placements, etc).
