The Biology Society of South Australia (BSSA) and the Nature Conservation Society of South Australia (NCSSA) are excited to host our Research seminar - Vonow Conservation Biology 2024 grant recipient meeting on the 18th of July!
Join us to hear about our 2023 grant recipients presenting their research:
- Nicole Fickling “Investigating the impacts of edge effects on soil biota in Grey Box (Eucalyptus microcarpa) Grassy Woodlands”
- Josephine Lingard “Understanding threats to shark conservation: Identifying spatiotemporal patterns in shark species for sale across the supply chain in the South Australian flake trade.”
- Kimberly Michael “Assessing the impacts of profitable grazing on the endangered pygmy bluetongue”
- Jack Bilby "Beating the heat: how do bandicoots respond to extreme heat events in burnt and unburnt habitat" (Video presentation)
Following the presentations, we will be announcing our 2024 grant recipients!
Date & Time: 18th July (Thursday) 5:45-7:30pm (Door will open at 5:45pm for a 6pm start. Light refreshments and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.)
