A core hallmark of UTS research is its broader impact (hey, we're not the #1 university in Australia for research impact for no reason). We're also home to Australia's largest student entrepreneurial community.

So let's bring those two together, shall we?

Come connect with other UTS HDRs and researchers who are using entrepreneurship as a path to research impact. Explore how your research can make a difference, and learn how UTS Startups is supporting researchers to meet society's needs.

Who is this for?

Researchers or HDR students interested in entrepreneurship and startups
Startups interested in connecting with researchers

We'll bring the pizza, you bring the pondering.

You don't need...

to be able to code
to be researching something "techie"
to be sure you want to start a business
to have a clear business idea

It helps to...

want to meet other UTS researchers
want to make a difference
be curious about how to do that
be hungry, because we're serious about the pizza
