Researching for your next book
Toni Risson in conversation with Margaret Cook
Have you ever wondered how authors write a non-fiction book and how they gather the relevant (and accurate) information to confidently put forward their case?
In this 1 1/2 hour session in The Book Bouquet, join Toni Risson and Margaret Cook (both well-known local historians and authors) as they discuss their approach to research and how it all comes together to publish.
This is an opportunity for all budding and experienced writers to learn from two very experienced local authors, and ask questions in the relaxed setting of the bookstore.
This special discussion event is to celebrate 2026 SPARK Festival and part of our full program to showcase Ipswich's local authors and illustrators.
The event is free to attend but registration is required as the event is held within the bookstore and seating will be limited.
