researchED Ballarat 2026

researchED returns to Ballarat in partnership with Ballarat Clarendon College on Saturday 14 March 2026.
Hosted by Dr Greg Ashman, author of The Truth about about Teaching, The Power of Explicit Teaching and Direct Instruction and A little guide for teachers: Cognitive Load Theory.
Featuring keynote speakers David Didau, leading British education thinker, author and former English teacher known for his influential blog The Learning Spy, and Bronwyn Ryrie Jones, leading teacher educator and published author on teacher learning.
researchED is about connecting teachers with research and researchers. Teachers will present on their attempts to use research in the classroom and academics and researchers will present their new findings.

Food trucks and coffee vans will be available to purchase lunch and drinks. Refreshments will be provided at registration and morning tea break.
