Haileybury is proud to host researchED Melbourne 2026, bringing together teachers, school leaders, researchers and education thinkers from across Australia and beyond. This one-day event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the latest research, professional dialogue and practical strategies that improve teaching and learning.
The program has been carefully curated, featuring guest presenters who are experts in their fields. Through a dynamic mix of keynote presentations, workshops and classroom-focused sessions, attendees will be challenged to think deeply, explore new ideas and strengthen their professional practice.
Participants will have the opportunity to choose from five rounds of 45-minute sessions, allowing them to create a personalised professional learning experience tailored to their interests and areas of focus. The full program will be released in the weeks leading up to the event.

Getting there
Please note there is no parking available onsite at the Haileybury City campus and there is limited street parking available. Closest stations are Southern Cross and Flagstaff. The number 58 and 85 trams also stop nearby the campus.

Keynote - Anna Stokke – Mathematics Professor, Department of Mathematics & Statistics, University of Winnipeg
A mathematics professor at the University of Winnipeg, Anna is deeply committed to teaching and are an active research mathematician. Anna is also a strong advocate for high-quality mathematics education for Canadian children, volunteering in a variety of capacities to support the development of students’ maths skills. Anna leads a non-profit organisation, Archimedes Math Schools, dedicated to helping children excel in mathematics, and previously co-founded the advocacy group WISE Math. Anna’s expertise has been widely recognised through approximately 200 media interviews on maths education, along with numerous articles written for a general audience. In 2021, Anna was named a 3M National Teaching Fellow. Anna’s research focuses on algebraic combinatorics and combinatorial representation theory. From 2017 to 2022, Anna served as Chair of the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Winnipeg.
