Researcher to Innovator: Commercialisation Masterclass

Join the Monash New Ventures Team and Monash Generator for a Commercialisation Masterclass specifically designed for researchers to explore what commercialisation looks like at Monash University.

This Masterclass is designed to provide an insight if you are wishing to learn more about the commercialisation of research, or are working on a project that has commercial potential. It also will help provide a great starting point if you are interested in participating in our Researcher to Innovator Program. 

The following topics will be covered in each Masterclass:

• Competitive advantage
• Intellectual Property 
• Commercialisation pathways  including licensing, spinouts and consulting, and
• Time for Q+A!

These 90 minute sessions will primarily be held in-person at the Monash Generator co-working space on Clayton campus, but some virtual sessions will be run as per the schedule below.

This Masterclass is currently only open to Monash researchers (including PhD students, Masters by Research students, PostDocs and Academic staff) and Monash Professional staff. If you are interested in participating but don’t fit into the eligibility criteria, please contact Fiona Lewis (fiona.lewis@monash.edu). You do not need to be actively working on a project that has commercial potential to participate in the Masterclass.

Applications for the first hybrid program of 2023 will open in early 2023. Register your interest in participating by completing this form. Those interested in applying to the R2I Program are strongly encouraged to attend a Masterclass prior to the program starting.
