I'm Leisa, the founder of Yogic Mind. This venture emerged from my passion for change and transformation, recognising the invaluable insights offered by the ancient practices such as yoga and meditation, coupled with modern neuroscience.

At Yogic Mind, we embrace the idea that our journey calls for not only a growth mindset but also the discipline required to navigate its more fixed aspects, such as the essential practices of exercise and self-care.

I have been deeply curious and drawn to yoga from a young age. I have dabbled in many styles over the years and found myself not fully committed to a certain practice but flowing in and out of various styles and classes. Yoga has supported me throughout my three pregnancies, corporate career and provided me with a space where I could practice self care on a number of levels; physical, emotional and spiritual.

In 2015 after the birth of my third child I made a conscious decision to dedicate myself to a regular vinyasa practice; practising the art of being a student, studying philosophy of yoga, meditating daily, journaling and trying (yes trying) to live a yogic lifestyle whilst working as a HR and a Change/Transformation Leader in global organisations. Working full time and with three young children Yoga and Meditation are my anchors- they provide me with the tools to weather the storms that life throws at me. In 2021 I was finally able to make achieve a long-term goal of becoming a Yoga Teacher and graduated in the Sarasvati Yoga Style (a traditional style coming from raja yoga).

Overall my classes are inclusive and open to all levels, offering a variety of entry points in the practice for beginners or those more experienced. I blend breathing, meditation (guided being a favourite) as well as intentional movements to provide a safe space where you can move and rest. I weave in philosophy and look for opportunities to align the practice to the seasons as well as to our energy centres (chakras).

I provide practical tools, knowledge, and guidance that can be seamlessly integrated into your life to help support removing stress, and gaining more energy. I look forward to working with you.
