Resilience: practical tools for staying strong in a busy city
Description
Take a mindful pause in your day and join us for this bite-sized, interactive lunchtime workshop focused on building resilience in the pace of city life.
Through short videos, guided discussion, and practical exercises, you will explore simple, effective ways to strengthen your resilience when facing everyday challenges, both at work and at home. Expect a supportive space to reflect, share, and leave with tools you can immediately put into practice.
This session is inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with seams of gold. Rather than hiding flaws, Kintsugi celebrates them, transforming breakage into something more beautiful and unique. In the same spirit, this workshop invites you to recognise and reframe life’s challenges as opportunities for growth and strength.
This event is part of the Care & Repair Festival, organised by Sparks, John Wesley’s New Room, and Bristol BID.
The Care & Repair Festival is a joyful, family-friendly celebration of making, mending, and creativity, taking place from 7-19 April 2026. See the full programme here: Care & Repair Festival - Bristol BID
