The Journey to Resilient Community Buildings: Learnings from Easton Community Centre

Join Eastside Community Trust, Bristol Energy Network, Max Fordham, gcp Chartered Architects and representatives of community spaces across Bristol for an afternoon of shared learning, practical advice and networking to make our community spaces more resilient to rising energy costs, changing community needs and extreme temperatures.

This event is for staff and volunteers working to improve the energy efficiency and energy generation of local community buildings. The sessions are intended to provide practical tips, shared learning and trouble shooting for organisations, wherever they are in their energy journey.

Sessions will include: 

- Shared learnings from Easton Community Centre's journey to an efficient zero-carbon energy system  

- Panel with Bristol Energy Network, Max Fordham engineering consultancy, gcp Chartered Architects and Eastside Community Trust on practicalities of energy retrofit for community buildings

- Community building surgery and knowledge sharing workshop to tackle thorny energy challenges

- Tour of Easton Community Centre energy system and optional networking to follow
