Resilient River Star Teacher Training with Elizabeth River Project Education Staff

Date: Saturday, September 28th, 10am to 12noon

Target: K-12 teachers in Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach

Elizabeth River Project’s educators are here to inform, inspire and support teachers on ways to engage students in Elizabeth River curriculum and Resilient River Star School projects. Teachers will get an introduction to Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEEs) through classroom and outdoor activities on Saturday, September 28th at Paradise Creek Nature Park. In addition, online activities and resources will be shared for teachers to complete on their own time. Limited funding may be available for action project supplies.
