Explore your creativity and unlock the world of UV resin geode art in this hands-on workshop. This class is designed for beginners who want to learn the fundamental techniques of working with UV resin, and who want to create hand-made geode-inspired miniature masterpieces of their own. Participants will create 4’x4’ miniature resin geode canvases, that can be displayed on small art easels, or hung on any surface.

This class will help participants to:

  • Learn about the properties, characteristics, and applications of UV resin
  • Understand safety precautions and best practices for using UV resin
  • Become familiar with the essential tools and materials required for making UV resin geode art
  • Explore pigments, dyes, and additives for UV resin
  • Master the foundational techniques of working with UV resin, including mixing, pouring,
    layering, and curing
  • Discover the process of creating geode art, and explore how to replicate crystal
    formations and textures with resin and other materials
  • Experiment with color and texture combinations while creating a mini masterpiece

In class, participants will:

  • Follow step-by-step instructions to design and create their own geode canvas
  • Receive guidance and tips from the instructor (Xena) throughout the process
  • Practice coloring, layering, and curing their pieces
  • Add finishing touches to UV resin pieces, including sealing
  • Engage in Q&A around any challenges
  • Access personalized feedback in a fun, learning-based environment
  • Absolutely no previous resin or art experience needed!

In Person Class session takes place at our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. Materials and tools will be provided during the class. Participants should bring an apron or where clothing they don't mind getting messy.


This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 16 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. 


This is a Live event. Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.


Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
