Resistance is Not Futile: Engaging Jewish Wisdom for Our Times
Event description
We are living in turbulent times. Here in the US and across the globe, Jews and other minorities are threatened to a degree not seen in many decades. All of us need to be resistant and resilient if we are to survive individually and collectively. Jewish wisdom sources provide both keys and models by which we may remain grounded and rooted in our tradition as Jacob's Ladder even as our eyes rise Heavenward. Via meditation and text study in a progressive engagement with lament, resistance, resilience, and personal revelation, we will emerge fully equipped from a stance of strength and confidence to withstand the forces that seek to prevent us from becoming our best selves.
