Resisting Collusion Community of Practice (online)
Event description
The Resisting Collusion Community Of Practice (CoP) is for workers who have attended the Resisting Collusion training to meet with other practitioners to share, learn and reflect on their practice with men who use violence. The CoP will be jointly facilitated by Ada Conroy and Kelly Finch, who will foster a strong community of practitioners from across Australia and Aotearoa that are committed to safety, accountability and exploring better practice.
In 2025, the CoP will be offered bi-monthly, with a maximum of 15 participants per session.
Objectives:
- Discuss challenges and opportunities
- Reflect on current practice and frameworks
- Consult with other workers and access peer support
- Share successes and challenges
- Share insights, learnings and practice wisdom
- Talk about how the work affects us

Who delivers the Community of Practice?
The CoP is Facilitated by Ada Conroy and Kelly Finch - Training and Framework Specialists.
How is the Community of Practice Facilitated?
The CoP is facilitated online via zoom with a maximum of 15 participants per session.
Who can attend?
Those who have attended the Resisting Collusion training and wish to continue their learning and reflecting with other practitioners in a facilitated space are invited to attend.
This CoP is not appropriate for specialist men’s behaviour change facilitators.
What if the session is fully booked?
We encourage you to add your name to the waitlist and if a place becomes available it will be offered to you. We may also contact you to let you know about future CoP dates so that you don’t miss out.
Cancellations
Registration fees are refundable up until 3 days before the training. After this time, you may be able to transfer your ticket to another person should you no longer be able to attend. In this case, please email us resisting.collusion@gmail.com
