Resonant Voices Projection Night

Resonant Voices is a collective of 9 young artists who have been slowly moving together over the last six months to build community, share stories and reflect in this time of change, crisis and complexity.

This projection night exhibition shows a glimpse into the world as seen, heard and felt by those close to the ground. Stories of grief, nature, healing, resistance and reimagining that create a constellation of creative ideas in the night sky that illuminate new ways of being together, and of navigating our collective path forward.

Join us for a night of experimental transmedia storytelling projected onto the walls of Le Space. There will be lens based art, collage, painting, poetry, sculpture and soundscapes. Snacks will also be provided.

Wearing a mask is highly encouraged for this event. N95 Masks and hand sanitiser will be readily available at our event. The venue is also wheelchair accessible through the back entrance upon request.

This initiative is funded through Victoria University as part of CRIS (Centre for Resilient and Inclusive Societies).  

This event takes place on stolen land belonging to the Wurndjeri people of the Kulin Nation - whose sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging. We recognise that lineages of storytelling, creativity, community and resistance have taken place on this land for tens of thousands of years. We are committed to standing in solidarity, listening and uplifting First Nations voices.
