The WA School of Mines Alumni (WASMA) inaugural Resources Leadership Summit will be held on 3 October 2024 at the Pan Pacific Perth.

This Summit will explore the theme ‘Unearthing Excellence’. If you have been working in the resources sector for several years and are ready to progress in your career, then this is the event for you.

This is not merely a gathering of minds; it’s an immersive experience crafted to inspire creativity, foster adaptability, and cultivate resilience. Our goal is to provide you with actionable strategies that you can implement immediately, whether you’re on-site on a mine, leading an exploration project, or guiding a corporate team to deliver value to shareholders.

The Summit will focus on four key themes essential for leadership in the resources sector. Each theme will serve as a guide for our discussions and activities. When you come to this year’s WASMA Resource Leadership Summit we want you to be prepared to:

Be Creative: Embrace innovative thinking to solve complex problems and drive progress.
Be Adaptive: Develop the agility to navigate and thrive amidst industry changes and uncertainties.
Be Resilient: Build the mental and emotional strength to endure and overcome challenges.
Be a Titan: Lead with authority, empathy, vision and confidence to inspire and drive your team forward.

As a not for profit organisation, we have maintained low registration fees to encourage broad participation. We are pleased to offer an early bird registration fee, plus further discounts are available to our WASMA members / WASM grads. Additional funds generated will be reinvested into our initiatives, ensuring collective growth and progress for everyone.

Investing in yourself and your people is never wasted. Don’t miss this chance to unleash your leadership potential and make a lasting impact on your organisation and the industry. Register now and be a part of an event made by people like you, for people like you.
