Respect 2040 Forum: Stand Together, Act Together

The annual Respect 2040 Forum brings together partners and supporters from across the Barwon South West to recognise and celebrate the commitment, collaboration and progress made by the partnership. 

We are thrilled to welcome keynote speaker Anu Krishnan and MC Daisy Ye. Together, they bring inspiring leadership, lived experience, and a deep commitment to gender equity, multicultural inclusion, and ending gender-based violence.

This year, we will continue to build the capacity of partners and supporters to plan and undertake primary prevention of violence against women, focussing on active bystanding as a strategy to disrupt the drivers of violence.

Who is it for?

This forum is perfect for any organisations or businesses interested in addressing violence against women in the Barwon South West region. All existing Respect 2040 partners and supporters as well as organisations who have an interest in joining the partnership are welcome to attend.

Learning outcomes

New and existing Respect 2040 partners will:

• build capacity in being active bystanders in their organisations and communities

• explore collaborative and collective initiatives

• build and extend Respect 2040 partner working relationships

• learn new ways to advance gender equality and prevent violence against women
