Respect 2040 Turning Evidence into Action
Event description
You are invited to Turning Evidence into Action - a multi-faceted event aiming to:
- provide best practice examples to support the launch of signature initiatives for Respect 2040 Great South Coast (what does Respect 2040 want to be known for?)
- understand what is already happening across the region; and
- gain consensus and commence planning for collective action
The day will commence with an introductory session to explore the evidence for gender equality and primary prevention, before launching into concurrent proven and promising practice sessions to hear from national and international practitioners who will present their proven or promising practice initiatives then work with participants to determine how we turn the evidence into local action.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Emily Maguire, Respect Victoria: Turning evidence into action
PROVEN AND PROMISING PRACTICE SESSIONS:
Andrew Bazeley, The Fawcett Society UK: Smash Stereotypes the commission on Gender Stereotypes in early childhood
