Respect-Rising: Elders Circle with Langford Aboriginal Association
Event description
Respect Rising is a bold program which will shape and design Reconciliation WA’s (RWA) future strategic priorities and expand our regional engagement and impact. We will consider the future vision of the reconciliation movement in a post referendum landscape, underpinned that this must start from Respect. It is time to listen, learn and lead, as we walk together.
We're calling out to Aboriginal Elders to allow us to sit and yarn with you. We will offer a safe space for you to share your stories, hopes and dreams, and reflect and connect with each other, and our team.
Ideally our Elders Circles will be offered over 2 - 3 hours. Attendance for the full time is appreciated, as we gently consider 4 key questions to shape our next horizon of reconciliation in WA. Each session will include a check-in, scene setting, discussion guides, breakout groups, review and reflection.
Help us shape Western Australia's reconciled future.
