RCS Awareness - Regulations and best practice safety management

Join Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) as we take a closer look at the latest regulations and best practice safety management on Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS).

RCS is a critical topic for the Heavy Construction Materials Industry, and effective management, appropriate controls and sustained awareness are essential to manage the health risks.

This face to face event will provide information to improve:

• The awareness and understanding of the risks associated with exposure to Respirable Crystalline Silica,
• The knowledge and awareness of person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) duties in relation to managing the risks of Respirable Crystalline Silica, and how to comply with these duties.

The Keynote speaker is Marcus Brooks from Robson Environmental.

This seminar will also explore Safe Work Australia guidelines on RCS, on which CCAA was closely engaged in developing.

With panel sessions, interactive discussions and subject matter expertise, the afternoon is sure to be informative and of high value.

MARCUS BROOKS

Marcus Brooks is a Senior Occupational Hygienist (COH) with Robson Environmental and has over 12 years of experience in various HSEC areas. Marcus is passionate about using his extensive technical ability and experience to educate, implement and deeply embed hygiene best practice.
