What are challenging behaviours and what makes them challenging? Why are some situations difficult to deal with? This course provides an opportunity to consider your own personal triggers, learn tips on how to manage challenging behaviours and situations, and build self care into your daily work.

The one day workshop will cover:

Identifying and assessing potentially difficult situations
Greater self-awareness and personal triggers
Strategies in managing highly emotional situations
Effective communication skills when working with aggressive clients
The importance of building resilience for workers
