Responding to Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence – A Workshop for Allies

Play an active role in preventing and responding to Violence in your community.

The Workshop will explore:

  • Healthy relationships and Recognising the signs of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence
  • The impacts of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence and the social contexts that allow violence and abuse to occur
  • How to be an active bystander or ally
  • Develop skills to confidently and effectively respond to Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence in your community


Learn how to recognise the signs of Family, Domestic & Sexual Violence, how to respond to someone experiencing Violence, how to have safe supportive conversations, and importantly, where to get help for people impacted by violence.

This face to face training is designed for residents or people volunteering, studying and working in the New England region.
