Event description

How do you identify someone who isn’t coping well? How should you approach them?

This two hour workshop introduces common mental health problems and how they may show up in a performing arts environment - perfect for those seeking to learn basic techniques to enable supportive conversations at work. This session, we’re specifically exploring common scenarios you may encounter while helping others behind the scenes.

Facilitated by Kathy Lepan-Walker:

Kathy's own experience as a trained theatre performer, combined with her current insight as an MEAA equity delegate, makes her a highly empathetic, insightful facilitator. She has studied Mental Health at Swinburne University and is also passionate about increasing awareness of neurodiversity and hidden disabilities.
