Panel | Responses to 'Cambium Itch'

Join us for a panel discussion in response to Erika Scott's exhibition 'Cambium Itch'. 

Erika Scott is known for her maximalist sculptures of detritus, taking the junk of consumer culture and transforming it into a sensual explosion. Piercing the gallery walls with six-hundred pvc pipes, 'Cambium Itch' taps into the layer where creative thought might multiply and emerge.

IMA Public Programs Manager Madeline Brewer will facilitate discussion with Carrie McCarthy (Director, Griffith University Art Museum), Keemon Williams (Assistant Curator Indigenous Australian Art, QAGOMA), and Kyle Weise (Curator, University of Queensland Art Museum).
