More than a concert
I felt like I’d been on a journey. The poetry and introductions helped me connect with the music, and I left feeling chilled, open and free from life’s baggage.

In our busy, always-connected world, genuine rest has become surprisingly rare. Rest & Resonance offers something beautifully simple yet increasingly precious: an hour dedicated entirely to slowing down, letting go and being immersed in the calming power of live music.
Settle into your own carefully prepared relaxation space, complete with a comfortable floor mat, pillow, cosy blanket and self-heating eye mask. As the lights soften and candlelight fills the room, you’ll be invited to simply rest while beautiful live piano and voice create a peaceful soundscape around you.
Unlike recorded playlists or wellness apps, every note is performed live, allowing the music to breathe naturally within the space and creating a unique experience that can never be repeated in quite the same way.
There is nothing to achieve, no expectation to meditate, and no right or wrong way to experience the evening. You may drift into deep relaxation, quietly reflect, or simply enjoy listening. However you arrive, you are warmly welcomed exactly as you are.
Rest & Resonance has been created by Annie Ball, concert pianist, vocalist and Creative Producer of Semibreve CIC. Combining years of professional performance experience with a passion for creating thoughtful, inclusive musical experiences, Annie has designed Rest & Resonance as a gentle invitation to reconnect with yourself through the simple act of listening.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, carrying the weight of a busy week, seeking a moment of calm, or simply looking for a truly unique evening out, this experience offers space to breathe, reset and restore.
For one hour, there’s nowhere else to be. Nothing to achieve. Nothing expected of you.
Simply rest… and let the music do the rest.
Not at all. You’re welcome to sit on a chair if that’s more comfortable.

Annie holds a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, one of the UK’s leading conservatoires. Alongside an extensive career as both pianist and vocalist, she has performed with acclaimed musicians and created innovative projects that combine artistic excellence with wellbeing, community engagement and accessibility. Rest & Resonance grew from Annie’s own wellbeing journey and her belief that live music can create spaces where people feel safe to pause, breathe and simply be.
