A Space to Rest and Restore
Take a moment for yourself at our monthly hot yoga session at Modo Yoga with Denise, where we slow things down and focus on nurturing your body and mind. This is your time to breathe, reflect, and connect with your inner voice in a peaceful, welcoming space.
What You Can Expect
- 🍵 Arrive Early to Connect
Get here 30 minutes before class to enjoy a warm cup of tea and chat with your fellow Laadlis. Our instructor will be available to check in with you and hear how you’re feeling—whether you’re craving more movement or just need to rest, she’s got you!
- 🌀 Gentle Movement
Gentle movement with a focus on breathing, positive affirmations, and tuning inward. It's not about the workout—it's about the workIN preparing yourself for deep rest and self-care. - 😌 A Peaceful Space
We’re all about slowing down and soaking in the stillness. No cellphones are allowed in the studio space (devices can be left in the secure change room) so you can unplug for a chance to truly unwind.

Studio Guidelines
- Doors will close 15 minutes before class to ensure the flow of class is prompt please aim to arrive at 8:15pm the latest
- Mats are provided in studio but participants are encouraged to bring their own
- Participants are required to fill out a waiver prior to class
- Everyone is welcome to attend however these sessions are specifically geared towards wellness for women of colour
- Modo Yoga is a silent space, a scent free space, and a device free space (smart watches and phones)
