RESTORE- supporting human restoration through connection to nature (Talk and Workshop)

Human restoration and deeper connection to nature is something all of us can do within current times. Landscape architect and educator Sandra Schwarz presents the findings from her book RESTORE, to demonstrate how restorative qualities can be designed 'in' to green spaces. Find out what it is that gives us the 'exhale' effect and a feeling of respite as we spend time in nature, and how you can apply this to your own favourite place of green calm. The author talk will be followed by a nature-based Cyanotype (cameraless photography) workshop, where participants will have a chance to create their own cyanotype bookmarks and marvel at the 'details of delight' that nature offers us every day.
