Western Australia's landscapes face serious threats. Land clearing, resource extraction, soil erosion, and climate change have degraded millions of hectares, pushed countless species toward extinction, and weakened the resilience of our most iconic environments. The scale of damage is immense—but so is the opportunity to repair it.

Environmental restoration offers a way forward. Around the world, restoration is proving that we can rebuild ecosystems, care for Country, and create economic value at the same time". Done right, restoration generates jobs, strengthens regional communities, and gives us the tools to adapt to a changing climate. Building a thriving restoration sector requires investing in people.

Restore WA aims to develop the community that Western Australia needs by connecting passionate individuals with practical training, industry knowledge, and professional networks. Through hands-on workshops, targeted skill-building, and networking opportunities, we hope to create a community of practice that shares expertise, supports emerging talent, and drives innovation. By investing in the next generation, we turn environmental passion into professional capability—equipping people with the skills to heal Country, build careers, and lead WA's restoration future.
