Retail PPA masterclass - Build a business case

Event description

Would you like to help your organisation switch to buying renewable electricity?

Do you have questions about power purchase agreements (PPAs) or the procurement process?

If you’re a proactive leader and keen to learn from experts, come along to this workshop hosted by the Business Renewables Centre Australia.

It’s suitable for small to medium businesses buying between 500 MWh and 50 GWh of electricity per year.

If you typically spend more than $150,000 a year on electricity, it’s ideal for you.

In this 2 hour session you’ll learn:

  • how a retail PPA works and what other electricity options are available to you
  • how other organisations have procured a PPA
  • the essentials of building a business case
  • the basics of procurement and how to access more support.

You don’t need any prior knowledge to attend this session. However, to get the most out of it it’s best you:

  • understand your company’s annual electricity use
  • consider your company’s main goals for procuring renewable electricity. For example, managing electricity bill fluctuations or reducing carbon emissions.

You’ll leave the session with a great understanding of your options and how they affect your procurement, finance, legal and management processes. You’ll receive a workbook, a business case template, and session slides.

If you’re considering purchasing renewable electricity through a PPA, we recommend you attend this session.

We look forward to meeting you and answering your questions.
