These retreats are a truly unique space of healing potential for Carers and an opportunity to take some time for self and learning about the key principles of ReikiDo and meditation. The retreat will be led by founder Caron Hill an Internationally sought after teacher of Makoto ReikiDo. Makoto ReikiDo offers antidotes and methods to reduce the harmful effects of mental and emotional stress impacting mind, body and spirit. Caron has a wealth of experience in ReikiDo, meditation and has an extensive background working in healthcare.

Please note there are two steps up to the front entrance and two steps down to the Temple; currently the building does not have disability access to the entrance or the bathroom facilities. Please be in touch if you have any mobility concerns and we will do our best to accommodate.

Details: This small group environment will enable Carers the opportunity to learn the key principles of ReikiDo and immerse themselves in a relaxed inviting safe space. The retreat has three graduated steps which are outlined below:

1. Learn the back ground to this unique system of mediation practices and be empowered to apply the methods

2. Put the methods into practice for daily life for the healing of self and loved ones

3. Sustain and deepen the practice with Caron through an online facilitated and supported community group

Morning tea will be provided at arrival upon signing in at the retreat and Carers can expect the following to occur throughout the day:

Through these mini retreats there will be time to unwind, refresh, restore and rebalance as you step away from normal life and offer yourself a little me time. However, the unique opportunity here is to develop new skills and personal insight. As we explore this gentle yet powerful system of meditation healing methods you will be gifted a new tool box to pull on for personal healing of self and loved ones. Practice of the methods in retreat conditions will enable you to gain confidence to apply them into life. We will have the opportunity to explore, practice and play over two days and stay connected in practice through our monthly online groups

A light vegetarian lunch will be provided with beautiful healthy options such a lentil dahl, soup, salad, dips and bread rolls. Gluten free bread is available upon request please make contact with the Carer Respite team and we will arrange.

Please note: If you are unable to make the second session in April you are welcome to attend the second session for the May or June group (we have included a separate event for May and June - please only sign up to one month only). Once you have booked your ticket we will be in touch with you to finalise details and check your date preference.

The goal is that Carers will attend two sessions to allow for consolidation of learnings. Carers will have the opportunity at Day 1 to sign up for a follow up online session at the end of the month where your teacher Caron will provide deeper learnings, and an opportunity for time to talk about how your Reiki practice has been post sessions.

Although this is not a formal ReikiDo qualification (Level 1) by attending both retreats you will be skilled to practice this beautiful profound modailty in your everyday life. The below link provides some information about this wonderfully healing modality.
