RETROSPECT

As we enter into a more advanced technological era, our memories with past objects and devices have started to resurface. ‘RETROSPECT’ concludes our three-part group exhibition that has been touring around Melbourne this year. Our final show delivers an immersive experience using projections and screens to provide a space where we can go back in time to reflect on how much has changed and what has remained through the artists' eyes.

RETROSPECT (Pop-Up Gallery & Shop):

Join us in our last show for the 'RETROSPECT' series held at Shell Space in Brunswick VIC, featuring 10 local and overseas artists: Annabel Le, Ezo, Mila Useche, Nhat Tan Nguyen, Thuan Huynh, Tim Sta-Ana, SONA, sukinapan, Svdpony and Yoona Love Kim.

A very limited number of merchandise from some of these artists, and across the three RETROSPECT shows, will also be available for purchase over the weekend. We cannot reserve products as we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

This exhibition continues to build into PANCAKE’s vision to reconstruct the existing perceptions in Australia towards this form of playful, stylised flat art inspired by pop culture.

Access: 

• FREE 3-hour parking available on Frith Street, just around the corner from McIver Street

• Number 19 Tram to Stop #22 Albert Street/Sydney Road

• Venue is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible through a wide entrance

Due to the nature and limited capacity of the event, time slots are allocated from 10am-5pm. Walk-ins are allowed, but those with pre-paid tickets will be prioritised for entry. No food or drinks are permitted on site.
