Return to Self — Full Term Pass: 5 In-Person Art Therapy Workshops in Cheltenham

One pass. Five Saturday mornings. The whole of Term 4, in person in Cheltenham.

Return to Self is the final term of The Atlas Creative Circle for 2026, and this pass covers all five in-person gatherings — a seat held for you at each one, from 17 October through to the closing ritual on 5 December.

The term moves in an arc. We begin by meeting the protective self, work through what we show and what we keep hidden, make something to carry forward, listen to what the natural world has to say, and close the year by releasing the old self to fire. Taken together they do something a single morning cannot: they give the work time to settle between sessions.

What the pass includes

· Sat 17 Oct — Anchor the Shadow: cyanotype and the protective self

· Sat 31 Oct — Visible Self, Hidden Self: clay, and what we show and hide

· Sat 14 Nov — Re-emergence Oracle: make your own oracle cards

· Sat 28 Nov — Nature Conversation: art therapy outdoors

· Sat 5 Dec — Fire & Intention: a year's end ritual

The pass is $420 for all five mornings. Single workshops are $75 each if you would rather pick your dates. The four online sessions in the term are booked separately, at $80 for all four or $30 each. Every session runs 10:30am to 12:30pm at Cheltenham Community Centre, 8 Chesterville Road. All materials are provided, and tea and a warm welcome come with each one.

What to know: places are limited to ten per gathering, and the pass holds yours for all five. If you cannot make a particular Saturday, let us know and we will do what we can — the circle is built around people with lives, not perfect attendance.

The Atlas is a creative circle for those who carry more than words can hold. In most approaches art is a tool inside a talking frame — in the Atlas, the creative process itself is the therapy. No art experience is needed, and sharing is always your choice. All you need is to arrive.
