Returning to stillness: A meditative Sound Journey
Description
Facilitated by Gonza (Anatman), a sound artist, producer, audio engineer, yogi, and artisan, this practice draws on over 20 years of experience in music, alongside a long personal path in meditation and Buddhist philosophy.
Electronic textures and personally recorded nature sounds are woven together with live traditional instruments—some handcrafted by Gonza through his instrument-making practice, Samadhi Instruments. This brings a tangible, intimate quality to the experience, where sound is not only played but carefully crafted at every level.
Each journey unfolds gently, beginning with grounding and guided relaxation to help the body and nervous system settle. As the soundscape deepens, layers of rhythm, texture, and organic tones invite you to soften your attention and turn inward. The practice is less about doing and more about allowing—listening as a form of meditation.
You are welcome to lie down or sit comfortably, letting the vibrations of sound guide you into states of stillness, emotional release, or subtle insight. No prior meditation experience is needed.
After the session, we welcome you to return gently to the ground for quiet reflection, journaling, or simply sipping warm herbal tea in the soft afterglow of your journey.
