Join us for a community BBQ and information session focused on restoring Regent Honeyeater habitats along the Merriwa River.
Event details:
Join Local Land Services for this free event and learn about:
planned revegetation and connectivity programs
upcoming seed collection from local properties (Casuarina, Yellow Box, White Box, Mugga Ironbark)
mistletoe propagation techniques
work with LLS volunteers and Merriwa Landcare to help establish a local native species seedbank & nursery.
This collaborative effort will lead to a community planting day in 2026.
