Featuring some of the best in talent, production and energy, get ready for a full day of rave rituals at one of Hobart’s most iconic venues.

HAYDEN JAMES

It took award-winning music producer Hayden James one song to become a sound of the Australian summer. ‘Something About You’, released in the heat of December 2014 by Future Classic, lit up the pop music scene and gained Gold Certification in Australia. Today the artist’s electronic pop music has hooked a global audience on his sound, with a collection that has amassed over half a billion streams.

Following the release of ‘Something About You’, Hayden James played sold out venues world-wide while producing tracks for Katy Perry. October 2017 marked the release of ‘Numb’ featuring GRAACE, which scored Platinum certification in Australia and landed at #32 on Triple J’s Hottest 100. This kicked off a massive headline tour of North America and attracted more media interest, with Hayden’s interviews drawing fans to his easy-going nature and sense of humour as well as his music.

RUNNING TOUCH

Running Touch is a middle grounded insertion into a body of alias’, rocking back and forth between experimental electronica and papery wholesome tones.

A forward-thinking, innovative artist more than just a musician alone, the Running Touch project is a seasonal, starry-eyed, sky-gazing progression into experimentalism that brings a new concept of dance music that incorporates testing, contentious tactics and an in-depth twist on reality into music.

With synthetic, melodic tendencies alike that of ‘London Grammar’ & ‘Klangarussell’ combined with a fluency in ethereal electronica & experimental indie pop, Running Touch's mission is to "change the way the world thinks of dance music by defying genres and breaking the boundaries of what is considered to be normal.”

With his creations formed through far-flung influence and instrumental prowess, Running touch aims to introduce art in it’s holistic sense back into music.

BAG RAIDERS

Australian dance royalty Bag Raiders have been stalwarts in the electronic music community for more than a decade. After releasing a slew of cult underground cuts (‘Fun Punch’ and ‘Turbo Love’), Jack Glass and Chris Stracey signed to dance-powerhouse Modular Records and released their debut self-titled album in 2010. With that, the game changed forever. The record debuted at #7 on the official ARIA album chart, snagging nominations for ‘Best Dance Release’ (ARIA), ‘Album of the Year’ (Triple J Award) and ‘Dance Work of the Year’ (APRA). The LP featured the smash hit singles ‘Way Back Home’, ‘Sunlight’, ‘Snake Charmer’ and of course festival anthem ‘Shooting Stars’ – one of the biggest Australian dance tracks of all-time. ‘Shooting Stars’ has now amassed over 4 billion online streams, achieving 32 Platinum and 7 Gold plaques worldwide and delivering a cultural impact beyond anyone’s wildest expectations. Since its release the song has taken on a life of its own, breaking-the-internet a gazillion times through a series of iconic ‘Shooting Stars memes’.

Following the success of the debut record, the band relocated to Los Angeles and released a stack of highly-praised EP’s ‘Waterfalls’, ‘Checkmate’ and ‘Friend Inside’, plus club-warmer ‘Nairobi’ and ‘Beat Me to the Punch’ ft. Mayer Hawthorne. In 2019 Bag Raiders released their second LP ‘Horizons featuring singles ‘How Long’ ft. Panama and ‘Lightning’ and a sold-out tour across North America and Australia.
