Event description

The Great Southern based creative collective Ecosystem is honoured to present...

REVERB - an evening of reverence for live music and story telling held in Albany's stunning Welsey Church.

Travelling from the Margaret River area to headline the event is The Sacred World Music Choir. Born 3 years ago with the clear intention of gathering a group of women to sing songs from all over the world, the choir’s songs range from African, Cuban, Spanish, Aramaic, Gaelic, First nations Australian and Native American medicine songs for the audience to be touched by a range of culturally diverse sounds. Conductor Laura Briones comes from a lineage of choir conductors in her home country of Argentina, and this choir the a fulfilment of a dream.

Sharing the stage with the choir is Echo Omen. The Denmark-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and vocalist crafts soulful, atmospheric sounds from acoustic folk to downtempo indietronica and abstract hip-hop, drawing from the stories of the land where he lives and belongs.

Please join us for this this special event and we hope to see you there.
