    Event description

This session is designed to get businesses and senior executives to radically rethink how they are delivering purpose in an era of greenwashing and greenhushing. The phrase “acts first, and ads second” will anchor the session to help those in attendance explore why purpose is vital in today’s world, whether anybody cares, and where do you even begin.

It will be a rallying-call to show how we need to stop looking at purpose as a revenue raiser, and instead as a crucial and critical tool to ensure the delivery of real, tangible impact.

Attendees will also hear from guest speakers on greenwashing, greenhushing, and the importance of real, tangible impact within brand and marketing.

    Guest speakers:

    • Belinda Noble, Co-Founder of Comms Declare, a climate advocacy group dedicated to the communications industries and on a mission to create a cleaner, safer climate. Belinda represents hundreds of communications agencies and professionals who have pledged not to promote the growth of fossil fuels
    • Ben Peacock, is a strategist and creative specialising in world changing ideas and world leading sustainability communications. Currently Creative Director of South Pole, he works across the globe with companies including Levi's, Autodesk and Starbucks to make sustainability something people want to be a part of.
